Our OR-1 Oriole Feeder was one of the first feeders we designed over 30 years ago and it works so well it is still the design we use today! Orioles find the deep, vibrant orange of the base and top of our oriole feeder irresistible. The color draws them in naturally as ripe, juicy fruits do in the wild. We use our same proven clear, up-swept feeding tube design as our HB-1 Hummingbird Feeder which allows easy access for the much larger orioles and still allows you to watch them drinking. One of the best perks of this feeder is that it not only attracts orioles but Indigo Buntings, Purple Finches, American Goldfinches, and of course hummingbirds all enjoy drinking from the OR-1, too! The larger birds mentioned don’t feed while hovering so we designed the feeder to have a generous pair of flexible non metallic perches, but even hummers will land for a break while feeding. We designed the OR-1 to be easy to fill and it holds 8 oz of nectar (sugar water). Peter's Feeders are handmade in Wisconsin from impact resistant plastics, the feeders come with instructions for making your own nectar and are very easy to use. Expect a variety of visitors to your Oriole Feeder!

Exactly the right size for an oriole feeder. Very well made. I haven't put it out quite yet, but I know the orioles will love it. -

I was very surprised when Peter's Feeders actually volunteers to stand behind an earlier purchase that broke. I was about to replace it and it was Peter who talked to me about allowing him to try to fix it. When I sent it to him, he decided that he wasn't happy with the way the plastic was weathering and chose to replace instead of repair the feeder.
Very impressed with his professionalism. -

I have had this type of feeders for about 28 years and am totally pleased with it. I have the red hummingbird one also. The orioles and hummingbirds use the same feeders. It is easy to clean and fill and since it is clear, I can give it a quick look to see when it needs refilling.

I ordered this feeder and was sad that it arrived with a broken piece. Pete called me immediately in response to my call and drove over to replace it the very next day. The feeder is fantastic and what an amazing company.

Best Liquid Oriole Feeder

I have purchased 3 other Oriole liquid feeders in the past and they always leak or break after only one season.
My Orioles kept getting on my hummingbird feeders, so I was looking for a feeder that the orioles could have for their own. I found the Peters Feeder and it works great! It is sturdy and the concept is awesome and no ants! I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this feeder.
